You’ve changed a little since your your profile pic, Stan haha.

You’re a husky/malamute owner, which means you’re awesome! :thumbs up:

Jake was a great dog (RIP) who belonged to the plane's owner; my pooch is a golden retriever.

Yep, I've changed.. a lot! The avatar photo was taken in 1971 when I was 29, so that was 50 years ago. This one with my puddle jumper was taken a couple of years ago; it's no 727.

If I had the money for a private jet, I would probably just buy a few more watches.

I bought plastic wrappers to protect against wind scratch and those dreaded birds creating dents. I’ll try to apply without air bubbles.

I could have had a private jet, but had to spend $25M on jewelry and watches I didn't want so I could get on the Daytona waiting list.

My private jet for real? Isn't that why it should be kept "Private"?

I was about to buy a private jet, but decided not to because I was afraid it was not safe to wear my Rolex on it.

Exactly because Rolex is king of the high street but can't be considered in high luxury and high horology terms

If I watched someone board their private jet while I was wearing my Pepsi, does that count?

LOVE the EAA shirt Stan! When I was growing up, I looked forward to going to Oshkosh every summer for the airshow with my dad.

Well, the year of the photo and year of the 727 are probably similar, no?

Thanks, Jon! I've been an EAA member since 1966 and have been to AirVenture in Oshkosh several times over the years. I always have a great time.

I never thought of that, but you're right. That airplane, a Boeing 727-100 Executive, SN 20533, was delivered to ITT in 1971!

It's no jet, but a little Piper Warrior is still a "private" aircraft, right?

Would a radio-controlled jet qualify?
