Is anyone getting a new Sub or Skydweller in Canada?

I been looking for a new sub or skydweller in SS in Calgary since late 2020.

Travel to both Toronto and Calgary recently. It was depressing to see the Rolex showroom are pretty much empty beside a few DJs...

I'll take any sub at this point... Quit regret selling my subs....

It’s been like this even before COVID so not surprising.

I recently got a SD43. I initially wanted a sub but AD told me that I will wait 2 years or so to get the new sub...

I don’t know but I was in Montreal recently and stopped by two ADs which both had empty cases but a lot of (uninterested) attitude

Sad situation. Omega, Breiting, Panerai, etc. make nice watches. I also discovered Seiko dive watches. Not Rolexes, but not $10,000 either.

I was able to get a DateJust 41 last week through my AD on the Prairies as you suggested, but that was all he informed me that had come in. In their entire showcase they had exactly 3 watches - all ladies not sure the type - 21mm, 26 mm & a 31 mm. As I was not asking about professional watches I did not get any sense of new arrivals.

Yes. But not by just walking in and hoping to get one that day...

I am in Toronto and want to get a SkyDweller TT or Sub in TT also (in that order). I checked 3 AD's and nothing. I bought an Omega Seamaster TT instead of waiting indefinitely, but would consider getting Rolex if something comes along.

SS Rolex is impossible to find, but there are some TT and full PM watches around. In August, I picked up a DJ31 TT for my wife and a DJ36 TT for me.
