Blackbay 41 vs Smiley 79220

Hi all,
I have a Harrods blackbay and was interested in pulling the trigger on a BB Smiley just wanted to know how it wears compared to the newer ones such as my Harrods.

In terms of price... it's decent condition comes with box and papers it's on fabric strap with no bracelet, any idea what I should be paying?

The ETA 79220 series wear far better than the newer in house Black Bay 41s on the wrist. In fact, I think the 79220 wears very much like a modern 6 digit Submariner but with cooler style (vintage nods).

Pricing will vary pending on bezel insert color and condition.

Thanks this one is red excelsior condition from Goldsmiths. Only issue is it has no bracelet. Without the bracelet I won't be able to get a proper feel for how it wears.

The leather straps suck, and the case is kinda thick with an unsightly gap otherwise, so I'd hold out for the bracelet.
