The Airport ADs get hit by crew all the time. Crew from both the pointy end and the back end spent a lot of time in airports, and absolutely build relationships with the ADs. I have an airport AD who lets me know what's in the Rolex shipments before the watches hit the case. Some of our guys have been very good customers over the years.

I was a frequent flyer for years and was always going through airports.
I picked up my Hulk in Dubai and a black Sub date. In Amsterdam I picked up a James Cameron and a Seadweller. Years ago I can remember seeing a steel pre ceramic Daytona in Amsterdam and around 3 years ago they had the Green dial Daytona. I doubt we'll be seeing any of those watches sat in the case these days |
