My watch before being given to the watchmaker had everything original on it and the face looked perfect so did the hands (Mercedes hand). When I came to pick it up the hands (phosphorus) was damaged and parts missing and the whole face was replaced by another face that was not perfect like mine original face. I took the watch to the retired watchmaker who sold me the watch and he immediately said - This is not the watch I sold you.. what happened? Anyway - the sad story..from Portland OR..The watchmaker was Silver Hammer..on Bropadway downtown Portland..Hope he is not in business.. Last edited by Rolexsat; 19 May 2009 at 03:32 PM..
