Possible to buy TWO OP36?

Hello! I signed up on both the yellow and turqouise OP36 when they were released. I got the call regarding a yellow OP36 in april and The AD told me I wouldnt get the chance to purchase the turqoise because Ive already got one of the most popular models. Does anyone else share this experience? I hope Ill be able to buy ut anyways!

I also heard that the new OPs are now more difficult to buy than a steel Daytona, that sounds crazy?

Lol then ask your AD for a steel Daytona and see their tune change.

They’ll think you’ve done well to get one

You’re probably done with OP for the year at least. They expect you to be satisfied with what they got you in April.

Agree with this. They aren't anywhere near the Daytona's level. I think they're being reasonable with what they've said so don't expect a call for the turquoise anytime soon but I'm sure long term you can get it.

Yes. Same as ss daytona. The AD won't allow me to put my down again for black dial as I got one already.

My AD had no problem taking my interest in a yellow OP having already received a turquoise one.

MMM. Sounds like your AD is trying to be fair to others who also want an OP36.

Don't believe everything some ADs say or read on the net,the OP colour is not like its something new they were around in the 1970/80s.But then quite poor sellers, but now the hype generated with most all Rolex today make them into little more than ££$$€€€ objects to easily sell. Then the grey market starts rubbing there hands jumping up and down with glee, and start asking crazy money for them to those willing to pay hype prices.

That seems reasonable to me. The OP's are not nearly as popular as the Daytona but they are popular. I do think in time though you'll be able to secure the second piece.

I got a yellow 36 and they said it’s a long wait for me for any other colour op.

I’m in a tiny market though.

Indeed they are trying to be fair! Its not that I was denied to be on the list, just that I wouldnt keep my spot on the list which I understand in one way! Well, to be continued!

Possible to buy TWO OP36?

I emailed my AD the day after the new colors reveal. Asked him if I could order the yellow and turquoise and pick them up at the same time. I lived in another city.

Waited around 2.5 months...

When I met him, he told me that he and also Rolex didn't expect that the new OP36 / 41 would be that popular. And that it was difficult for him to get one for his own collection

So much hype nowadays
