I've been to the Mountain top and carried full housed DSLR's with dual strobes, and navigated them through tight passageways in wrecks in Truk Lagoon at 150'. It's not for me, as I finally learned - and was willing to admit to myself. Now? We use an INCREDIBLE little set up, made by SeaLife, that is a housing for your iPhone. And what makes it SO cool, is that you can get amazingly good quality photos with it - both macro and wide angle - pretty easily, and you're carrying around . . . an iPhone! AND, when you're done with your dives in the morning and go to have lunch with everyone - - - - (get ready for this!) - - - - your photos are already ON your phone, and you can pass them around, immediately! STRONGLY recommended. DM me if you have any questions. And, welcome to the diving family!

Have two Subs but only dove with the 16613 once. One Barracuda later I only use a St. Moritz with a cloth/Velcro strap. Love the Subs though!

Been diving with Mike and Michele and Dolphin for 20 years, starting with Cozumel and including Papua New Guinea! Sonia and I joined them in Dominican Republic, just this past March! Love those guys, and the whole team. The Truk trip was NOT with Mike, but the trip leader was Kevin Chartrand, who's no longer with Dolphin. What a hoot! What's the connection with you?

I’ve known Mike for 25 years. At one time I lived in Sacramento and did a lot of business with them. One of the best dive shops anywhere!!
Small world….

I am a PADI Divemaster and Law Enforcement Diver, but haven't dove in many years. I only owned a Sub when I dove, but it would definitely be my SD43 if I dove again.

Padi Open Water. I've used a Marathon SAR and modded Seiko divers.

I’m certified. Don’t always dive with a mechanical watch, but have taken BB58, Doxa sub 300, and submariner.

I am a diver and dive with whatever current Rolex or Panerai Submersible that is current on my wrist. I always set the bezel on my watch when I go under, it's just something I do, my computer handles deco, depth and air. I like to use my watch to time the dive. Watch on left wrist computer on right...

PADI cert in ‘79. First dive watch was a Bulova Accutron and for the past decade or so it’s been a Sub 14060m. Unfortunately the Bulova is no longer with me.

Every time we dive, we participate together.
Of course, the computer is the main thing. :) https://www.instagram.com/tv.classical/ |

Dive computer and whatever I ended up wearing on the trip (Submariner, SD43, Citizen Promaster Aqualand). The Citizen is actually quite nice as it can serve as a backup if needed, even though that's never happened. Dives are just easy and fun now, nothing strenuous or stressful.

Over 200 dives. Primary and secondary are dive computers. Dive watch just to confirm bottom time. Not out of neccesity though. Back up to a back up to a back up. = )

I’ve dived with...
Submariner, ceramic and non ceramic GMTs Explorers. Nowadays it’s a memento, not a real tool. |

You needed the option of diving with a dive computer and a watch as a backup for tracking bottom time. That said, most divers will surface if their dive computer fails.
