New England blizzard pics 2013

Not since high school (which was cancelled for 3 weeks) during the Blizzard of 1978,have i seen so much snow dropping so fast.

City is virtually shut down and our Govenor ordered everyone to stay home with a fine if caught driving w/out an emergency.

Only police, fire, rescue, ambulances, city plows, etc are allowed on the road.

I do not remember a state of emergency in my life, when this has happened, but i digress..

I know some of you out west and way up north, see this from time to time, but
not in 50 years of living here, have i seen it come down like this,so fast..

The wife, being from China, has never seen it like this in her 17 years in the states,so

thinks' its' the apocolyse or something..

I'll get more pix when the next foot is finished dropping...arrgghh....

Calm b4 the storm about an hour before it started..

And then it starts..

There is a 5ft high drift behind the trucks which is pretty impressive,

again, since there is another foot on its' way..

Lazy little brats!!

DAY 2..

The END!

Nice! Got hit hard, too. Here is my wife's Subaru. They say its great in the snow. :)

The path back to my house. I guess I won't be using that outdoor shower today.

Whoa, that's a lot of snow!
I'd like to see a foot or so down here outside Philadelphia. This round we only got two or so inches.
Stay safe and warm

I'm getting too old for this snow crap. It's going to be time to head to Florida soon.
