I know about as little about vintage cars as I do about vintage watches but I am familiar with Singer, Ruf and Les Artisans de Genève. I do think that the vast majority of "reimagined" 911s and Daytonas are real value killers, but there's always a couple who attain enough stature that their high prices to do the work carry through in the resale market and don't necessarily depreciate like a stone. It's pretty tough to earn that kind of reputation and few do.

In my uneducated opinion, the idea of replacing original hands and dials that have great value and keeping them for if/when you sell the watch, while putting on a service dial or whatever for your own enjoyment makes a lot of sense to me.

Those 6263s are beautiful. I was astounded to read about he RSC bills for vintage hitting five digits, even if that's not where you want to go. Yikes!

It’s kinda what the OP is looking for but the price does seem high to me.
He’s usually pretty on the money for his own stuff. Consignment maybe?

Looks decent and its quite well priced. but if the movement is wrong then its a pass unfortunately. Like i stated in the original post, the initial thinking is to restore the watch back to its original condition as it left the factory back in the 60s/70s. A service dial is acceptable as it would meant lower price to purchase and I don't have to worry about babysitting the watch for fear tanking its value. But the movement has to be original for the watch. I will have a look closer to see if its worth pursuing.... Thanks for the heads-up!
