FS: 1966 Rolex Submariner 5512 Gilt 4 Line Dial with Service Papers

Description: Case: The excellent case has just returned from polishing showing sharp prominent bevels. The fat font bezel insert is also in excellent condition and has faded to a medium blue-grey and some wear for its age. Dial: The glossy gilt dial has an extensive and even pattern of spider-cracking patina across its surface. The lume has aged to a warm creamy hue and the hands have been relumed and color-matched to the dial. It appears the top layer of the luminous material has been added to the dial and was likely done a long time ago. Bracelet: The 11 link Swiss rivet bracelet is excellent showing average stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1972 date code. Accessories: Service Papers. Notes: A complex and beautiful spider-cracking patina, a faded fat font bezel, and a sharp fresh case.
