Hard pass. Looks too chunky. Also, there is no universe where I could get past that bezel with the countdown style of markings/notation.

I know it's personal preference, but a countdown bezel can be used perfectly well for diving and in actual fact quite a lot of early dive watches featured it - the Mido Ocean Star Decompression Diver, vintage Monnier Dive watches, Maty dive watches from the '60's, the Austin Skin Diver, to name a few.

In many ways the countdown bezel makes more sense to me - you know how long you can stay down for, so you set the number of minutes against the minute hand, and then when the minute hand hits the lume pip, you know you need to surface. That actually feels more intuitive to me than setting the lume pip against the minute hand, and then having to think how long you should stay down for.
