Both are great. I own the WG Sub and love it. Blue suits, shirts and sport jackets are my favorite color and the Sub fits perfectly.

I have considered buying the BLRO since the prizes reached the right level, but I am struggling with having both in the same collection.

I chose the Sub. If the BLRO was truly red and blue it would be a much nicer watch.

I'm holding out hope for a WG Coke.

BLRO between these two. The deciding factor is the GMT complication for me.

Thanks for the input guys, much appreciated. Still having a tough time deciding between the two.

For me I found that in the past when I've tried them on at ADs, the BLRO looked muted and not as vibrant as some of the pics posted here. Whereas the Smurf looked a lot nicer irl than in pics where it appeared to be flat blue. However, I still keep going back and forth between the two now

Can't go wrong with either, but I'd do the Pepsi.

WG Sub vs WG GMT

BLRO for sure from those 2!

Dr. Tom will probably be able to tell you which one he prefers as he owns both (and a platona as well!)

The lighting in ADs isn't very good. In direct sunlight both watches are muted but indoors or indirect lighting they both pop.

This forum is GMT>sub. I say it's a toss up -- can't go wrong with either. For me the sub is more useful for timing things. I don't need a GMT function in daily life. I'd go sub.

I'm a GMT guy through and through, wear and use my LN every day. I'm thinking of these 2 as well, and my thoughts are go for what you like the look of..and IMHO the WG Sub is the best looking Rolex bar none!

It’s a really tough call. Yellow gold (which is my preference) I would go sub.

White gold I would go gmt don’t ask me why though… but I do have the meteorite dial GMT which does give a huge edge if we’re talking vs white gold models.

I would go for WG GMT with Meteorite or Blue dial.

I’m sure, after 5 years, the OP has made the decision
In today’s WG models….GMT would be my choice
