Hi Jack

No one has been rough, opinions will differ, that is a fact of life.

I did a google on couszheen - nothing came up, what does it mean ?

Mick

I think the baguettes on the DD's and Platona look absolutely stunning.

I don't have any watches with diamond dials.

But if you like your watches with diamond dials.

Enjoy wearing them.

Some aspects of diamonds can be classy...
Baguettes...
Diamonds with a white metal surround...
Diamonds with minimal surrounds...
Diamonds with no surrounds...
Diamonds on a dark or contrast dial...
My dream diamond Rolex would be 18238, gloss black dial, baguettes.
Ooh mama.
Regards

Yeah...totally agree. Not crazy about the round diamonds, not b/c of their flashiness, but the shape.

The exception for me being the serti dial on the sub...where I think the round shape fit very nicely as the sub dial uses round markers.

Only wear what you like and feel comfortable with. I'm hoping to get a platinum DD one day. I've heard even on this forum that diamonds don't belong on a man's wrist, but that's just someone's opinion. My wedding band is plain 18kt YG and I wouldn't want a diamond ring. But I think the smooth bezel DDs with factory diamond dial look fantastic.

I think too many ppl are picturing a fully encrusted case, dial, and bracelet when someone mentions diamonds. Unless someone is up close and inspecting your watch, not very many will even notice.

Diamond dials are beautiful on watches. Not flash at all.

Diamonds and other gemstones on a Rolex is more than acceptable imo.

It's just a matter if you like them on your watch or not. If you like it and own it. Nothing looks silly, tacky or pretentious. The douche is always the person. Never the clothing, watch, car etc.

A bust down prezzy is dope if you can pull it off. Diamonds are not for everyone, from what I've read on this forum the majority of people here like to fly under the radar because swagging out is not in their blood. Instead being a basic person like the rest of the herd is the way of life for them (I have my fly under the radar watches as well). I personally like the baguette diamonds on my dd40, I get asked if they are diamonds so I assume it's not flashy. However I am on the fence of busting it down with a diamond ranch for when I step out on the scene I'll be wet wet and make the snoody pretentious guys hate for being too loud. Not here for friends so haters can hate.

Gemstone indices are cool by me. I'm not sure I would like a completely iced out watch, but a little ice is nice. :) Aloha, Tim

Not flashy at all, they are very small and need close inspection to see them, nobody from a distance will ever lnow

IMO, the small diamonds on my 18038 are more subtle, so it works for me in dressy situations. But I do not like diamond bezels.. Too flashy.

Beautiful. I think the baguette diamonds make all the difference. They are more modern looking than round diamonds.

Never understood Roman numerals or diamonds for hour markers. I think they look beautiful, but makes the watch useless at night when trying to tell the time…but to each his/her own.
