Check in, but don’t nag. I periodically text mine - although they haven’t had anything for me since my first purchase over 1.5 years ago. They know I’ll buy when I’m offered pieces.

I just texted them saying happy holidays. Nothing about inventory or waitlist - just hello!

Don't need to check. Get to know them and them to know you. If you buy other things in their store they will consider you as a client of their store and not just a rolex client. You can pass by to visit and offer some coffee to chat. I think that they have so many people waiting for the same watch that they will call the ones who can provide them long term business or good referrals.

I check in every couple months or so. And only in person. Texts or emails asking if your watch is in must be beyond annoying for the rep.
