Don’t do it. Blue dial WG is unique and no longer in production. I’d keep the GMT.

It's all based on perspective if you ask. And in mine, you can go on with it. If you're losing to profit off it then it's a a good idea but that blue dial is just so Uniqlo.

Nope. Not even a remote chance I would even consider that.

Solid gold bracelet for an oyster flex? And not even that. The Daytona is the only watch in the OF line w/o the mini glide lock, so, that's a big NO from me.

I'm pretty sure it is. Not sure where you're getting that?

You are correct the 126719 blue is still a production model, the older 116719 is not

Add. Or sit tight. Don’t trade.

The OF was not comfortable for me with those little fins on the backside. I’ve got 7.25” thin, bony wrists. OF won’t work for me. The concept sounds great but the discomfort was something I could not handle.

If you don’t like the OF, you’ll be wishing you had the GMT back.

I wouldn’t do the trade in any event. Adding is fine. That said, I’m in the market for a different Daytona on Oysterflex and have the exact same dimension wrists (and description) as you. Your comment has me concerned…

I’ll pm you some wrist pics for perspective. Feel free to call this afternoon if you want to talk. 205-706-1389. I was so sad. I loved it. 116519LN. Wanted it. Hated to let it go. The OF took me to then point where I was actually going to cut off the baffles/fins on the back. But I decided to let it go rather than start hacking on the OF.

My mistake. I was thinking of the previous generation. Either way, I still wouldn’t do that trade.

Was it too tight? Stiff? Didn’t sit right? I would love to know why if was so bad for you. My wrist is a little over 6.5 inches.

I'd do that deal in a heartbeat. Not a fan of the current GMTs with the oversized numbers on the bezel and sub-par colors, even the PM versions.

The Daytona, all PM, OF or steel, is the last remaining classic sized/styled sports Rolex, still with a hint of vintage DNA. And it's sure to be redesigned soon. So, get 'em while you can.
