New Incoming Pepsi

I got a call this week from my AD, and my heart literally started racing as I thought perhaps a Meteorite Daytona had my name on it. Alas, that’ll be for another day I hope, but I was able to get a Pepsi to add to my collection.

My AD has been simply amazing to me over the past year or two…I know it’s a very hard brand to break in to and I understand the frustrations of those new customers that genuinely want to be part of the brand, but honestly I think a vast majority of ADs are doing everything they can to maneuver through this madness.

Congrats! I have been very fortunate with my AD this year….a WG and a RG Day Date….I’m hoping for one more before the year end but I can’t complain. I also have the BLRO and I love it!

Wow, so exciting and happy for you.

How do you like it now on the wrist versus the green sub?

I am beyond fortunate to have both now, and my tastes have a tendency to change. But for now, while I love the Pepsi, I just find the green Sub to be an almost perfect watch. I wonder if I’m just more partial to the oyster bracelet and if that’s influencing me? Ask the question again in 6 months

Congratulations. Great watch.

There seems to be a steady stream of incoming BLROs at the moment.

Beautiful. I personally prefer the oyster bracelet, but you really can't go wrong with these. I am hoping to celebrate a milestone b-day next year with a sub 124060 but then I have another milestone coming up 2 years after that, and I would like to celebrate that one with a Pepsi.

Congrats!! I love mine. Just out of curiosity, how long was it since you purchased the Sub and what kind of purchase history did you have? Only asking bc I probably have a mediocre history of purchase (at least my perception but at least some consistent history) but have become friends with my AD contact more generally.

Really, just providing information would allay or increase my own anxiety about getting “the call” again about something other than a Datejust.

I waited about 3 months for the GMT, and I received the Sub in the late Spring after expressing interest for that on the day of release. I have a solid purchase history, but I’m certain not as impressive as many on this forum. I have a good relationship with the boutique and believe that’s as important as the spend. It most certainly helps that I had some history before things went nuts.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve been doing this for a while but it’s pretty wild right now isn’t it?

Given your insta, I think you may have a strong to very strong spend history. 😂
