Last catch of 2021
I'd been fishing for a rare mid-sized Royal Oak for the bulk of the year and it arrived just in time. The 14700 is elusive since it was only produced for 2 years as it was transitional. It was the precursor to the 14790 that's enjoying some popularity right now. I love this TT model cause the bezel is so thin that the dial just pops. It wears larger than you'd expect for a 36mm watch. Cheers to all our catches this year and for a healthier and kinder 2022!

These two tone APs are beautiful and I love the funky dial color that AP used for a number of these models. The size of the 14700 is classic, reminds me of the PP 5107 and 5127 and 36mm Day Date.
Enjoy it. |

love the 14700 proportions, just couldn't get over the white date wheels on the steel versions, enjoy and congrats!

So true!! Kinda cool that Genta was a TT fan. So underrated by modern watch enthusiasts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
