How do you wear your watch?!
I’ve seen a fair few wristshots on here. I wear my watch tight and a bit down the wrist like this.
But I’ve seen lots of people wear them really high up so that the crown is almost touching the dorsum of the hand like this Which way do you wear it? What is right? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Wear it whatever way works best for you. No reason to limit yourself to someone else's whims.

More on the loose side but certainly can’t spin the watch over my flat wrist even with force.

Best place for all watches worn just above the wristbone, snug fit so you can get tip of pinky finger under clasp.

Second pic for me. Wear it however you’re most comfortable.
If I try to wear mine like the first pic it would have to be very tight as the bone is the same size between the back of my hand and the few inches above the wrist bone. Sent from my Apple privacy invasion product |

OP - Same as you.
I have a pronounced wrist bone so I can't wear it on the bone and no space between the bone and my actual wrist, so I have to wear it above the wrist bone (further up the arm). Its not an arm watch, but that's just how I need to wear these watches. As for fitment, steel usually comes with easy clasp adjustment and I tend to pick something that works for summer and winter. PM I wear tighter to prevent movement and use the easy link when my wrist swells. So whatever feels comfortable to you. |

Second for me. My wrist expands throughout the day depending on weather, activity… like everyone else. I make sure that it never gets like pic 1 regardless as, to me, that wouldn’t feel comfortable.
That’s why the glidelock system is so useful! |

I believe most people wear it above the wrist bone like in your first picture. Some people wear their watch on their wrist bone. And others wear it down towards the hand. Some like it loose, some like it tighter. But it’s your watch - wear it however you like!
Personally I wear my watch above the wrist bone (away from my hand) and a little on the loose side because it’s comfortable for me this way.. |

Doesn't it get hard to read under your sleeve?

Wear mine so the winding crown doesn't dig into the back of my hand. Worn so they sit on my wrist bone with the bracelet loose enough to fit my pinky finger at the loosest area on my wrist near the front of the clasp.

When I was 250lbs I wore it like your 2nd picture. Now 165lbs I was closer to your 1st picture.

I like to wear my watches a bit loose and I don't have a very prominent wrist bone so I wear mine more like the second pic, if my watch is snug I loose feeling in my fingers. Technically the first is "proper" but anymore I don't think anyone cares.

Might not be a popular idea here, but I rock with both depending on the watch. First pic would be for the classics for me. Anything else, second

For me, the heavier the watch, the more snug I wear it. I wear my titanium Gshock a bit loose and it goes up and down my wrist an inch or more, whereas the SD43 wears like your first pic with very little movement.
Surprisingly, I have been wearing my Explorer snug for a while, and then I extended it by I think 3mm so it's more loose and have some movement thinking it'll be more comfortable. After 48 hrs of wearing it like that, I took off my watch and had skin rash from the rubbing. So I wear it snug like my SD43. My Tudor Sub cannot be shorten anymore because it's not very adjustable. And it's loose during cold days and snug during hot days, but somehow it's comfortable either way. |

Depends for me what im wearing. If its a T-shirt or short sleeve my watch is past my wrist bone. If its a long sleeve its usually just about sitting a bit closer to my hands, on my wrist bone most of the time.

Up the arm above the wrist bone.
