Platona or White Gold Meteorite Dial Daytona?

I might have the option of getting both, but if I could only pick one, what would you guys choose? I am leaning towards Platona.

I'd go Playtona but I have no chance as loads of VIPs ahead.

Thanks for the feedback. I am told the Platona will be no bags.

Platona without hesitation even if I am slightly biased but I did previously own the older meteorite Daytona too. The issue with the new meteorite Daytona is the dial is already small and the off color subdials breakup the meteorite dial too much. It is better on the GMT Pepsi IMO. You would have to pry the Platona from my cold dead hands.

Platinum Daytona is just stunning in person! Would love to own one some day.

Never seen the meteorite Daytona in person.

How about whichever comes first?

Platona needs ice dial. No ice, get meteorite.

In my mind and style, I would go Platinum with diamonds as my “ultimate Grail” but certainly the Platinum Daytona would be a close second as I like some lume. The reputation of the Platinum Daytona is so strong even outside our WIS world it becomes mythical status. Only a few Rolex models ever get that kind of legitimate WIS and pop culture status. FYI, the weight of the Platona is shocking.

No wrong choice here, get whatever comes first.

You almost can get two meteorite for the price of one Platona at MSRP.

Platinum. I recently bought and love the YG meteorite Daytona on OF. I liked the YG cause I have other steel, WG and platinum watches. Tried on the platinum Daytona a couple of months ago. It was just out of reach for me but was incredible. Stunning. I would go with that. I think there are more Rolex meteorite options than platinum options but not sure. Read 7 Sins platinum write up. You will immediately want it

I know Meteorite is the current TRF hot choice. I do find it interesting, but IMO it looks best with white metal. I don't find it fits so well with yellow or rose gold. And TBH, the Daytona dial is busy enough without meteorite. So while I think it looks great on the Day-Date or the GMT, I'm not so fond of it on the Daytona. But of course all of this is just how it strikes me. Buy what you love!

I would go meteorite.
I doubt they will do the meteorite dial for as long as they have done the platinum dial which is nearly 9 years
