Emperor Strap....what do you suggest?
I really like the original strap on my SBDX035.
I'm currently wearing it on a 'B 22' Seiko rubber strap (SBBN017 strap), which is slightly harder and keeps this heavy watch very well planted on the wrist. What else do you suggest? A pic of this tank of a watch for your pleasure! DSC_5690 by etienne spiteri, on Flickr |

Great watch, big Tuna fan here. The 284 flat vent is supple and style correct (similar to the original Tuna straps). A few companies make and sell thell them in different guises but the ZuluDiver is what I use: https://www.watchgecko.com/bonetto-c...er-watch-strap (get the black one)
Their single-pass fabric strap also works well with a Tuna and it's flat: https://www.watchgecko.com/zuludiver...to-watch-strap (there's a black buckle option, too)

You just reminded me that I have a Bonetto Cinturini 284, which I will certainly find and try on the Tuna. As you say, this is closer to the 6159 strap! |

Great, the WatchGecko strap is basically just a Bonetto 284 with ZuluDiver buckle. Let us know how it goes.

One thing though, since it is a heavy watch and the strap is quite pliable, you do have to wear it tight for the watch to be comfortable. But it definitely works . |

Yeah, I have to keep the 284 quite snug on my SKX009, too, but it's very comfortable. Glad its good for you on the Tuna
