3% is about what it ends up costing to receive money...yes...whether is it is inline with ebays T&C I do not know. Is this your question?

Ebay allows certain countries to ask for the additional 3% on the auction if using this service (paypal)....US does not.

I am wondering where this one falls?!

thats a good question, I do not know.

Interestingly this watch does not come up in ebay.com.au it is only listed for sale overseas. I just send him a message asking if local deals are OK as I am about 20 mins away from him. we will see what happens!

one of his feedback comments does mention fake, it does not say what the item was though.

This listing was removed - FYI!

However, it is listed and the comment of the addition of the 3% was removed. It was on the US site.

I sent him a new message on his new listing and he agreed if I won the auction to do a "face to face" so listing seems OK.
