7 years old - Y serial

ag1453( 0 )

Perfect condition! Bought in 2001. Just had an overhaul done by authorized Rolex dealer where the crystal was replaced. Warrenty on overhaul is good for 1yr. Looks brand new! Buyer hates to sell but needs to scale back.

Bought in 2001, maybe it was a really early "Y", but if it's only 7 yrs. old...

Obviously the seller can't do math.

Is there anything that seems off though? It looks all in order to me. 2001 would be a Y serial range.

I think this is a case of caveat emptor. Let the buyer do the due diligence. Ask for more photos and verification. That's my 2 cents. I personally don't see enough here to ax this one, but I don't see enough to make me feel confident in purchasing.

Of course, you're completly right. What I am getting suspicious of are those who give the reason for selling. I suppose that may far from an acid test but It always bugs me.
