18k 1550 from 1975 - advice?

I have recently inherited this 1975 original 1550 in 18k. He kept the box and papers for years, but they have not been located. I have no service history and the watch was worn on a daily basis.

I would be interested to hear some advice for what to do with the watch?
Service?
Bracelet repair?
Replate?
Polish?
Some combination?
Other thoughts?

Thank you in advance!
