Authentication Question - Los Angeles
Anyone know where I can authenticate an AP in LA or OC? I am offered one for purchase second hand but missing the papers.
Rolex, there are many places I can take it into to check, but AP seems to be a bit trickier and I tried calling the AP store in Costa Mesa but the sales person I talked to said they don't offer that or couldn't answer the question cause the sales mgr was not in. |

I believe you can send to AP and they will examine and provide the archive papers.

I wonder if someone like Patrick at OC Watch Guy would do it for a fee. After all, they have to have some way to authenticate all of the watches that they bring in. They may not but it could be worth a phone call.

I suppose you could call the Audemars Piquet Boutique in Beverly Hills to see if they offer that kind of service on the fly. I am inclined to think they don't but worth trying.

Why don't you just buy from a legit seller, papers or not, then you won't have to worry about buying a fake?
