I cannot stand the bluesy these days, but enjoy the watch and if/when you get sick of it, then off for another trade!

Congrats

The new Submariner TT with the white print is gorgeous. I would have done the deal as well. Congrats and enjoy

I thought the same , I own both models and the Bluesy is something else

The GMT LN is steel and will need a service soon.
The Sub 41 has a lot of gold , new movement and wont need a service for ten years

You wont regret this deal! There is nothing nicer than a bluesy at Nikki beach in St. Tropez or in Cannes at the Port!

I recently measured a new Sub Bluesy at a meeting - it's great. You'll be happy.

I personally would go for the bluesy over the GMT. Congratulations it's a great watch.

I think if you look around for average price so it might make sense with that amount if you get a new TT bluesy, also my preference of the watch :)

It’s about preference and what you like. I prefer the bluesy over that GMT…… so yeah good move IMO.

Enjoy!

You did fine. TT professional models have gone way up. That is absolutely fair market prices for those two watches right now. The 12 series Subs in both SS and TT are going up. Traditionally, Feb is always THE best time of the year to buy a Rolex watch because it’s the slowest time of the year for Rolex sales. The market is on fire but will be even hotter in spring/summer especially for a dive watch.

The Bluesy is a stunner and unapologetically flashy in a classy way. I wore one for 15 years and on many dives. You can beat the crap out of any Sub and it will take it so don’t let it’s flashy appearance give any impression it’s not a tough badass dive watch.

From a trade perspective it was fair.

From a watch perspective that was a HUGE upgrade. Nothing like the Bluesy. The all black GMT is just ho-hum.

Congrats and enjoy that beauty.

Very good point. Even if you were color blind, he upgraded to the new movement, new case design, new bracelet and glidelock clasp and inside AR crystal coating. It’s a different generation of watch from what he had.

The LN + 4700 sounds reasonable to me. If it was a BLRO it would be a whole 'nother story.

You did good, OP. GMT LN is nice, but 126613LB it's a whole different level of beauty, congratulations!
