Anyone here ever deal with Watchbox?

I sent them a Rolex watch last week the person I’ve been dealing with tells me that it takes up to a week for them to inspect the Incoming pieces is that true??

Wow..I sold to them multiple times, but last time was almost 2 years ago and got wired the same day the watch got there. Hans was my contact.

Seems normal to me. I had to wait a few days to receive payment but that was also right before the holidays. They told me they had just been really busy.

No issues with them. Everything worked fine.

I believe Watchbox is very well respected. I contacted the company recently about a trade. I also got in touch with European Watch Company and ended up doing my deal with them.

Yep, sounds about right. Sold my IWC to them in December, if the watch is as described they will honor the quote so no surprises here.

Deal with confidence. I know them personally. Sometimes it's faster, sometimes it's slower, depends on the volume of intake.

Anyone here ever deal with Watchbox?

Their offers have been exceptionally low relative to TRF trusted sellers for me. I stick to those shops after getting comically low offers from watchbox and other corporate types (EWC etc). I get it, they have overhead to pay so I don't begrudge them but I also don't enrich them with my watch money.

My says you're leaving 15-20% on the table and they will relist your watch for +40%. If it's a Rolex I'd kindly ask them to ship it back to you if it's not too late.

I’ve dealt with the trusted sellers here many times. A friend told me he had good luck with WB so I thought I would try them. I sold them a Rolex DJ 26 they got it last Thursday. I have not heard back from them other than it was received and it can take up to a week to inspect the watch. Of course they said it usually doesn’t take a week. the person I’m dealing with Vicki the trusted sellers on here are MUCH faster usually the next day it’s all squared away.

My experience is that our Trusted Sellers offer better money and pay much quicker.

Their prices aren't great on either end, but their customer service is excellent. I really like that they have a return policy if you aren't happy with the watch.

2 years ago was lightyears in the watch game, they could be receiving hundreds more pieces every day compared with two years ago.

Hi All - Thanks to everyone for their feedback. We typically inspect and pay for watches very quickly. Depending on which office you sent it to and how many other watches came in at the same time, it could take a little longer but we hear many more positive reviews about how quick the process is versus complaints about it taking too long. Please let us know how your experience worked out!
