I wouldn't do it, as others said getting a new GMT at retail is impossible these days, I'd get the sub if you can, then again I have a sub and a GMT so am biased, but also would love a datejust in the future.

It's up to you. Which would you prefer?
I would take and keep the BLRO every time, but this is because I particularly like this model and have a strong attachment to it for a number of reasons. It sounds like a watch is just a watch to you, so if you have no particular love it seems logical to turn one watch into two watches and the Pepsi can hopefully go to an owner who will appreciate it. |

In my mind, the only way this would make sense is if you simply don't like wearing the Pepsi for whatever reason. Otherwise, I can promise you that you will one day deeply regret getting rid of it.
