I vehemently disagree. AP house service whilst you are there, in the present, face to face, is good. Thereafter it is shocking. 2-3 years ago you were treated like a king, now the SA's dont even reply to whatsapp messages - they have it way too easy. They have it fall on their lap because for every watch theres 10 drooling buyers - no sales work to do at all. It's created a culture of complacency in my humble opinion, and i find it distasteful. VC on the other hand - total opposite, brilliant service all round - a true luxury experience.

Hmm, VC left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. Went to the boutique in Landmark/Princess building few months ago. They kept on pushing some models where I have zero interest in, for example the Tradtionnelle Complete Calendar Openface. It's a nice watch, but they kept on saying how 'hot' this will be in the future...
Left the boutique and within a few minutes I received messages with dozen emojis and abbreviations (which I don't even understand) of how hot the Tradtionnelle is. The entire experience came over as a bit cheap. AP never forced me to buy a CODE. It's the one I wanted. They also reply to my messages quite fast, while I know they have more important clients. AP is great in customer service, which is part of their business model/sales strategy... |

I am sorry but which watch have you been trying to get from VC for 3 years? I think most dress watches are still pretty available and the Overseas were readily available to buy at most ADs/boutiques until mid 2021. |

It is a bit random though with the service you get with each SA, this should be quite obvious. Just as an aside, I'd rank the service at Cartier as above AP, then I'd rate Hublot/Roger Dubuis/AP on the same level. If you're talkinga about purely service/overall experience |

It sounds like it really is pot luck then. We are all having different experiences. Personally i just dont understand how a SA who is competent to the scale of 1/100 fails to respond a text message. At least vc sent you some emojis! lol.

I think if they're blanking you it's most likely that you've sold a watch you were allocated too soon and have been blacklisted

But I do have to say the service of the smaller ADs are generally much worse, had a terrible experience at the tiny Landmark JLC. I now just avoid small ones in general. But AP House sounds great, will try to drop by when restrictions are eased. |
