...I have seen and OWN one...
...with a 5 digit ser# (76100).
...I believe that the EARLIEST productions in a particular run had the 5 digit sn's. BESIDES my own, have seen several. |

I am particularly intrigued by this one. It's stunning with the red date wheel. Although it does look like it may have been overpolished.

Is the assumption made that because the end links are not correct the entire bracelet is counterfeit? Considering there is no picture of the clasp, could it not simply be an aftermarket replacement with no Rolex signature?
I hear this all the time... but I have a genuine 93150 from about 1977 that has aftermarket end links... I just dont see the point in paying $200-$250 for the end links, when perfectly functioning ones can be had for $50. Im not trying to be confrontational, just trying to understand the reasoning behind calling the bracelet "counterfeit". |

The guy does state that the band is not original and is not a Rolex/Tudor band. He is forthright about this being non-original.
