ROLEX USA just serviced my Rolex!!!!!! OMG! WOW!

I just want to say THANK YOU to Rolex USA in Texas. I just got back my submariner and it is like BRAND NEW. WOW I can’t even believe what a great job they did. This was my daily watch and it was pretty beat up. I primarily sent it in for the service and some polishing and a new bezel insert. But I gave them full reign to restore it as they saw fit. I have always heard that they can restore watches to new, but I was skeptical that they would really take the time to restore it to such an immaculate condition. But they went WAY OVER and above my expectations. Amazing. Honestly it is AS NEW and its back at home sung it its watch winder ahead of schedule!

Here was the process:

I called Rolex and told them I had a watch to send in.
They faxed me instructions on packaging, shipping, etc
May 4th I sent it in per their instructions
I called them to let them know it was en route. They ask me for a tracking number so that they could track its progress.

May 8th Then they called me to let me know they’d received it.
Three days later, I got an estimate in the mail with an ETA of 4 weeks
Last Thursday (May 28) they called to let me know it had been shipped back.
I received the watch TODAY (June 3rd ) and it is spectacular.

There are many watch brands out there. Some have a more eccentric look, some have more extravagant movements, and some are more exclusive. But NO OTHER BRAND possesses the caliber of customer service that Rolex has.

It has made me fall in love with the brand all over again.

I tried getting detailed pictures for you to see. I will always regret not taking any before pictures.

I have friends and family that are lucky enough to own both Rolex's and other brands like Omega. They all agree that none of the other brands are even close to Rolex in service quality. Awesome to hear that you received some of that excellent service!

Southern hospitality is also very trust for Rolex watch. They gave it some extra love.
It's not the same in New York.

That was my question, also, did they do any kind of overhaul-replacements? My Daytona is getting ready for it's first service, I think I'll be sending it to Texas thanks to your Thread!

$587. It was a bargain IMO. I gave them a budget up to $2k and they knew that. Yet, they did not take advantage of me.

Yes. I agree with the great service. I just got mine back from RSC Dallas about a month ago and could not have been more pleased.

Nice collection.

Yeah. Seriously, I was thinking the same thing. The gold seems to be really gleaming. Its bright like the Breitling gold...almost battery operated. Maybe they have a new rouge they use for the final polish.

My Sea Dweller was $610. It runs between -2 seconds per day and spot on.

They replaced the bezel and the insert. Other than that, the regular maintenance service (full movement service) and one hell of a polishing. Oh yeah, I think they replaced one of the SS links I gouged on some coral while diving. I asked them to do that and they said they could... How did they do that BTW? When I called in, they asked me "Would you like a new bracelet?" I laughed because it was so matter-of-fact like. I didn't need a new one. Just a polish.

e

p.s. It is a K version and had never been serviced. So a little overdue.

Dallas has my GMT II and I can't wait to get it back, especially if it looks as good.

Yes that was indeed looking like a new watch!
If you have a before and after comparison, it'll be even more interesting.

Looks good. This may sway me away from the local watchmaker and to the RSC when my Sub Date is ready to be serviced.
