Question about Sub Glide-Lock Clasp

So I've always wanted a no-date sub and after recently buying my wife a DJ I think I'm ready to buy myself my first rolex.

My one concern is the length of the sub clasp. I like the idea of the added functionality of the glide-lock clasp but I have a friend who says he passed on a sub because he didn't like the length of the clasp compared to other rolex sport models. But I think my wrist might be thicker than his at 7.25in circumference. Unfortunately my AD does not have one I can try on.

Do people here find the sub clasp to be too long? Would love if people could post some wrist shots with the clasp visible, most wrist I can find are a top down view.

Thank you! (first post)
