Specific 116234 DJ 36 Question

Hi all,

Looking to pick up a 2nd watch and have wanted a DJ 36 Jubilee for a while now. I'm specifically looking for the jubilee bracelet, with the hidden clasp and rhodium silver face. I found a preowned one from 2010, and I am wondering if the face/dial has changed from 2010 to let's say a 2015-2016.

I've been looking at pictures and seems like the roman numerals are less spaced out on the 2016 model(which I prefer).

Was curious if anyone had the answer to this specific question.

Also — If anyone is selling this above model, please let me know! I am open to either a silver or white dial.

Thanks in advance.

Great question. I'm interested in this exact configuration as well. Hoping the experts can weigh in.

That is a very specific question, which there may not be a cast iron answer too, I looked at a million pictures before buying my roman numeral dial 116234 and did notice what you are saying about the roman numerals looking closer together on some dials and not others. From my research I noticed the numerals themselves are thicker on some and thinner on others which gives them the appearance of being closer together/further apart. This could be down to variances in who made the numerals and when etc, and my not be specific as in X year they were thinner, then after Y year they were thicker. Whilst this does not answer your question, my best advice is buy the one you prefer, I went with Black with the thicker romans, you'll love the watch!

Looks like the watch is anywhere from $8500-9500 today. But agreed, your watch looks great!
