I tried one on a few years ago and like many have experienced, was blown away by the weight. Seems like the price was around $70K and I could have walked out with it that day. Wish I had that to do over again!

Actually, I wasn't even looking for one and am not a Daytona fan. This was a small AD, a quiet afternoon, and a friendly SA with no one else to talk to. The watch had just come in that week and she was incredulous with the weight and the price, insisting that "you gotta see this thing!".

Tried one on back in 2016 in hong Kong airport
That was when almost all Rolex sports model was in stock. Lol

Nice heft and wore bigger than SS Daytona.

Thought about it but didn’t pull the trigger. Oh well lol

Reflecting on it a little more, for the money.. I would rather have a full YG Bluesy, a BLRO and a Sky Dweller.. MSRP dreaming of course. :D

Had the pleasure of wearing it for a few days before selling it. A beast on the wrist

Sure, you can get used to wearing just about anything. You can get used to a rock stuck in your shoe. But for a timepiece at that price point, even at retail, the comfort level needs to be perfect, not something you learn to get used to.

As a side note, over $200K on the gray market now? Talk about insanity.
But I do believe you have a 6263 Daytona And what a beauty it is. So why would one even think of a Platona??? Love your Daytona hope I got the number correct. Thanks for all your posts I just love your piece

It is weird a Stainless steel Daytona feels light and small after wearing a SD4K, I stick my Platona on and it feels heavy and big . You do get used to it .

It is beautiful and heavy! I tried one on at my AD under similar circumstances.
