78790A bracelet question

Hi, today I came across a 78790A bracelet which doesn't have 78790A engraved on the inside of the bracelet. Is that possible? The one I saw didn't have 78790A written on the inside. Hope I'm making some sense... I was expecting to see 78790A engraved on the inner part of the very first link on the 12'o clock mid case but I couldn't see anything. If someone can explain why?

I've attached what I was expecting to see.

The only place where I could see 78790A written was on the clasp with its clasp code.

I think it would be written inside the endlink.

Thanks for your comment. I didn't know 78790A could be engraved on the inside of the endlink. Interesting. I had no doubt about its authenticity but it was just strange not seeing 78790A written on the inner part of the bracelet as the pic I've shared.
