16610 clarification
i thought all 16610 in 1990s and 2000s have a round side case wall. Is it not?
I don't know if it's the lighting from the listings but a lot of them show flat side wall. Even some videos of 16610 show flat side. And for 14060, i thought they only have ceramic bezel but its doesn.t.. My days of research has been useless lol I'm only interested in the round side with Swiss Made(2000s+). |

I can only really speak about my 2010 16610. If you mean rounded like a Datejust, no, they're quite flat but not as slab sided as a 116610.
There is a slight curve horizontally which kind of follows the curve of the bezel, but vertically they are straight. Here's a good representation of a no holes and holes case. |

This link should help explain the size difference between the two. They're practically the same but visually (to me) I think the bezel / crystal diameter is noticeable. As far as I know the cases were the same profile since release. The 16610 profile was pre-dated by the 16800, 168000 and 1680. You can see here that the case profile of the 16800 does look a little softer than the 16610 - I'm not sure if this was a factory finish or polished though. https://professionalwatches.com/role...6800-hands-on/ |

The 14060 is 39mm, the 16610 is a 40mm watch. They are very similar but slightly different. If you have seen rounded cases side, it's just a bad polish job. |

i got to see 16610 in person. It's sooo much smaller than i had ever imagined. Never even thought it’d look smaller than a datejust 2 41mm. That 1 mm difference must be big.
I have a small wrist so the size is good for me but it's a tiny thing for a diver's watch. Looks almost like a lady's watch |
