I've Sub 41 and BB58 black. They are similar in certain way but that's about it.
The Oyster bracelet in Sub 41 is way better than the one in BB58 in both the finish and the feeling on my wrist. Not to mention Glidelock is so convenient. When Sub 41 on my wrist, I feel almost nothing -- so comfortable. But when BB58 is on my wrist (w/ SS braclet), I would like to shop for a 3rd party bracelet replacement. |

Depends on the yardstick you're using to determine 'as good as.'
If you're talking purely watch stuff, like, you know, movement, power reserve, accuracy, durability, reliability, well, to put it bluntly, there are several Tudors I wouldn't mind owning (and do actually) right alongside their Rolex cousins. The one knock I would make on Tudor is the last of adjustability in the clasp of the BB line. If they ever fix that, well, that would be interesting. |

Pelagos
The rest.... all just variations of the tired old "snowflake" theme |

Only the Pelagos line. Its clasp is next level good. Very high level materials and finishing. Too bad so many Black Bay options and not more modern references from Tudor. The North Flag was pretty incredible too.

In my humble judgement, Tudor has become far more interesting than Rolex.
I have enough Rolex watches, so pursuing Tudor and other brands is quite refreshing and there's a lot less weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth. I do feel for those who are just getting into the hobby, though.

Exactly. The Mercedes hand (1930s) is about 30 years older than the Snowflake hand (1960s).
