Please Help!
Quick question, to save you all from my gloom.
Can my Wife come after my Rolex in our recent news of her filing for divorce? I used tax money to pay off the CC I bought them with.

This may be one instance where it could be justified to buy a Folex. Just give it to her instead of the real one!

what if i gift it to someone? I would rather give it to one of my friends than her at this point! She cleared out my accounts and charged her 3k lawyer bill on OUR CC!

In most states she is entitled to half of everything. She sounds like she is being vindictive though and you may want to secure representation quickly to avoid a royal hosing. Women seem to have an unfair advantage in divorce situations.
Good luck. I'm sorry to hear of your situation. Terry Newton

In your case it sounds like it's better to keep the watches than the wife.
Good luck. Jocke

Good for you. I'm sorry that you had to go through that turmoil, but glad you made it through with your watches and computer (for surfing TRF of course).
Hopefully happier days are ahead.

Do what OJ did
Quote:
Get a good copy and stick the real one in the office drawer. OJ did the same swap when they came for his gold Rolex. Everyone laughed at him for having a fake, but he laughed the loudest as his real one was in a plastic back at the bottom of the cistern. |

Good for you............
As you probably found out, it's a two way street... If she starts adding up the "VALUE" of your watches, then you can also add up the value of her jewelry, luxury handbags, and Jimmy Choos.... ....................
