Is it just me but I prefer a watch that gains time over one that loses time even if both are within spec. My Sub with the new 3230 is more consistent than any other watch I own in all positions but still loses -1.5 s/day. On the other hand, my 14060M tends to slow down a bit if left overnight crown down, but on the average runs at +1.5 s/day.

Probably cost cutting to make the production leaner and the margin higher.

Then touted as “optimized” by marketing and people
Will be flocking for the new hype engine.

There isn’t much to improve besides accuracy and réserve de marche.
