interesting Montblanc Test set
Just stumbled onto an auction where it seems a Montblanc dealer is liquidating stock, and saw this interesting set...
8x Montblanc Meisterstück 18k Gold Tester Fountain Tester Pens 115383 in Unique Display Case with Enlarged Nibs Ident No. 115383 are the Pen models. These units have the some engraving on them (please see photos) and enlarged different types of NIBS included. The RRP for this lot is based on the Retail value of each pen if they were sold new and seperate. These pens are store demo\tester units. Signs of usuage on them. Case has 1 key included that can lock. There are dozens more pics, but this gives you an idea oh yes, the price. they claim an estimated retail of about US$9K and are asking about US$2400 for the whole shebang!

The test sets don't show up very often and often sell for silly prices. At $300.00 per pen that is not as unreasonable as many others I've seen advertised.

I've always desired one of these sets, but could not justify the cost.
$2400.00 is an ok price and I have not seen this exact case for them. Being it carries the MB name, the case could be as valuable as the pen set.
