Tudor restoration

Hi all. although I have snooped around on this site. Im new and was looking for some help. I have recently been given a Tudor, model no 94510, that belonged to my father. He wore it every day including to work, so needless to say it has allot wear. It seems to have an acrylic crystal, with wear and scratches. the bezel has allot of scratches and along with the crystal I think will have to be replaced. It works great and I would very much like to restore it to its original condition if possible Because it means the world to me. I thought about putting a completely different bezel on it to give it a more modern look, but not knowing anything about watches, I have no idea what options I have with it, where I can get replacement parts etc. The photo that I am adding is of the same watch, not my fathers, but one I have found for reference. I thank all of you ahead of time for any help or suggestions that you might have.

In terms of collectability it is best to keep it original.

Maybe you need to send it to a watchmaker who can 'sympathetically' restore the watch. There are several guys who may be recommended to you.

I did call Bob on the phone yesterday and left a message on his answering machine, but as of yet, he has not called me back.
