Another Big Hello!
Hi all! I'm not new to Rolex but new to this forum. I belong to many forums - admin some, moderate others and this one seems to have first class helpful members! Very refreshing for me at least. Anyway, my first rolex was a 60's DJ that I got from my dad which now my best friend wears. Had a President but ended up selling it. I should have never sold my Sub but needed the money at the time I have been without a Rolex for about 10 years until about 2 weeks ago - I have always been in love with the Explorer II, I don't know why I just am. I love looking at the white face version, but feel I would grow tired of it quickly so I went with the classic black :D This watch keeps much better time than my others, +1 second every day and a half or so, not bad at all! I really wrestled with the choice of the Ex II or the GMT II ! Deep down though I had been lusting after the Ex II so that is what I went with, my AD had both and I was torn.
Hope to hang around a bit and learn a lot more. When finances permit I have to reaquire another Sub to fill the void it left when I sold it :( I leave you with a couple of pics! |

Let me add my welcome to TRF, nik. Glad you found our merry little mahouse.
If you didn't go for the GMT, the EXP was defiinitely the way to go. Beautiful watch you got. Stick around and keep posting.
