1815 u/d strap ideas
Hi all. Looking for ideas for a decent alternate to my dark navy alligator OEM strap on my white gold 1815 u/d. Can you give me some of your ideas?
I have a few constraints of what I don’t want so please adhere to that with suggestions. Would go for alligator or other material. As far as color I do not want any blue, black, grey, beige and no dark brown. Ideally I’d probably stay away from brown unless the material and tone was really appealing. I really wanted a very different look instead of traditional that will work. |

Honestly, I'd get a glossy orange alligator. It looks so good against white gold and steel. Check out the one I put on my Cartier Santos Dumont on my IG page.

That’s what I was thinking but can’t find glossy. Only matte.

I would go to Delugs and do a custom order, if you reach out to them, I bet they could do it. You may also want to give Combat Straps a try.
Here's another option: https://watch-garage.com/products/ag...ssic-cut-strap

1815 u/d strap ideas
I'd go with grey suede and blue stitch to pop like the blued hands. I know Grey is on your no thanks list but so is almost all strap colors that aren't loud.
Delugs as mentioned is a good choice but your watch may need to be serviced before it arrives.

Camille Fournet for me.
They have a “Custom Order” section, and you can design / build anything you want. May I suggest, for the liner, have them make that out of round scale Crocodile (for only $52 / $58 more … I can’t remember) … a beautiful strap that will last you a lifetime. |

I had a charcoal ostrich leg Aaron Bespoke on both my 1815 chrono and 1815 AC. I f I could try this forum to let me post photos I’d show you both.

Great thoughts so far. Thank you. I sourced the delugs site all day today. Many are out of stock for potential interests in the proper lug size. :(
I’ve looked at the other manufacturers and OEM supplier CF. Still stuck on colors. Wanted something different than traditional to mix it up. There’s obviously so many photos with the standard blue and brown and black. |
