My custom 2006 61cm Waterford Reynolds 953 stainless steel bike. Well into my seventies I did the AIDS/Lifecycle 545 mile charity ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles several times. At eighty, I'm still putting 50 to 100 miles one weekend a month when it's not raining (which hasn't been a problem in California the last several years). Campagnolo Record 10-s.

Thanks! It's 16 years old and still works for me; I see no reason to upgrade. Weight without the rear carrier rack is a hair over 20 pounds (9.072 kg) ready to ride.

Do any of you have young (or small) riders in your family who could use a gently used pair of cycling shoes? My son just grew out of his size 32 spd compatible Vittorias. If so, you’re welcome to them. I’ll even ship them free if charge….so long as I’m not overnighting them to Brisbane or something. I know first hand how hard it is to find equipment for young kids. Let me know.
