I'd go ND - the ceramic makes the watch so shiny already, and I find the cyclops is just another thing for light to catch/ bounce off and make it even more shiny.

That's where I am. A ceramic GMT II and an ExpII Polar both sport the cyclops, so a a SubC would be my addition if in this position. |

There is no contest here. Sub date always wins. Primary function of a watch is to tell time and the addition of a date adds functionality and that’s not a debate. There will be a time when it’s needed and if not now definitely in retirement. One can debate the looks/appearance aspect but that should not be the only consideration and the watch from 6 feet away looks the same date or no date

Date, especially if you plan to wear it daily.
The cyclops has never bothered me. |

I’d go for the Submariner.

Go for the 43 mm sea dweller. Nothing is cooler than the red letters

Haha…
My first Rolex was a Submariner date in the 70s and so the Submariner no date doesn’t look right to me without the date and cyclops!!

I like the date, but I'm also a hardcore cyclops person as I think it's classic Rolex in my eyes

There is only one Submariner the 124060, everything else has a date and just isn't as nice (others may disagree).
