Nice piece, and if you are happy with the price no problem, but wear it as something you like, not as an investment.

Personally, I don't for a moment think you are buying a dip, its more like trying to catch a falling knife, prices are falling and will continue to fall, so expect to loose money if you decide to sell.

But thats OK, its the way things have always been in the past, and we are now reverting back yo the normal.

I think 26k is not that bad at all for grey price, I remember they were going for mid-high 30's. Congrats on awesome pick up.

I'm sitting at the airport in PHX, flying to meet Tony @ SDWatches to get mine today.

This thread makes me wish my plane would hurry up!

Congrats, OP!

Don't worry, the market is still trending down. Every hour you wait could be money in your pocket.

I do. Since he mentioned he’s buying and taking advantage of the “dip” I was wondering what that “dip” price was. $26,000 is no bargain but it’s his money so he can do with it what he wants. Enjoy!

Well, the OP is the one who made it a point so not surprised that there would be comments about it.

Hopefully prices coming down also mean better chances for me to get one at my AD.

Congrats OP, it looks fabulous!

Should do. Timescale unknown but it's tilting more in your favour.

Yes In my opinion, I would consider this as a dip in the grey market…MSRP with taxes is $16,800 so no i didn’t pay “Double” sticker. Blue dial jubilee trading at $37K was absurd in March tho!

The almost $10K premium is crazy to most people, they rather build “purchase history” and wait couple of years. I don’t have an “AD relationship” nor do i have the time to build one by playing the games, and waste money buying stuff i have no need for just to build purchase history… So i justify the $10K premium for instant gratification

There are people on both sides on TRF and I respect everyones opinion. To each its own.

Agreed :)

I’ve paid a lot of money for things due to having zero patience why not you only live once!

I can respect that. Games do cost time and often money. One pays at the AD often by buying watches they don’t like to get to the ones they do and the gray does that for us at a price.

Love that piece, and 26k is a great price for the blue dial jubilee. Haven't seen one that low yet. Tempting.

Congrats. I think I’m leaning towards the jubilee on this reference too. It seems more cohesive in my humble view.
