Incoming 222

Very happy to get it so quickly. Wears big for a 37mm and perfect for my wrist. Very similar to the original 222, but with updated movement, bracelet and clasp. Very nice 222 inscription on the rotor, which previously was inscribed on the closed case back.

Amazing! Congratulations, it looks great on your wrist.
Is it comfortable, is it heavy, is it too slim, is it too flashy???

Cmon!
Details please!! And more pics. And finally, did you request it and when were you told that you’d get one and finally finally, any idea on how many will be made.

Ok that’s all.

It is a very comfortable watch. As already often mentioned, the bracelet is amazing. It tapers a lot by modern standards, but that does not bother me at all.

I ordered it as soon as it was released and tried it on at W&W. I was told 3-4 weeks ago that my order was confirmed and I would receive it from the first production batch. On Monday I got the call that it would arrive on Wednesday. I was at the boutique when the delivery of the watch took place.

Lot‘s of speculation on how many pieces will be made. I was told that it is a small production ever year, but expected production for many years…

Yellow gold is flashy, but the vintage vibe definely makes it less flashy than most other full yellow gold watches. Thickness is perfect for a luxury sports watch which should be very thin in my book, 7-8mm. The Overseas 4500v is too thick imo and therefore not in the same league as 5711 and RO jumbo. The real luxury sports watch from VC is the Overseas ultra thin 2000v, but unfortunatey they made less than 100…

Thank you for the information.

There’s so much conflicting information on production numbers. Yours is the first comment that I’ve read that production will continue for many years. My suspicion is that VC may only produce 200-300 and drip feed them for 2-3 years.

It matters not, congratulations on receiving yours, it’s special indeed.
