Stickers have to go. Warning some of you better not open this thread

I don’t buy watches for the next guy to enjoy. If I flip it down the road it’s coming with some history. Nothing more liberating than pulling stickers off a new Rolex and wearing it carefree of scratches. I can only imagine the science projects some of you have a growing on your watches underneath those stickers. Pull those funk collectors off.

All of mine have been de-stickered at the AD. Especially my Daytona 116500 where the manager took over 1 hour to remove all the little ones as I stared in desperation to wear my new grail watch.

I found two little stickers on the crown guards when I got home and I enjoyed pulling those off while drinking an espresso.

They put way too many tiny stickers on these watches!

The standard on Rolex Forum is sometimes really low; this is a good example.

You have to remove them yourself?

That's very poor AD service!

Next thing they'll want you to pour your own drinks.

How did you get a stickered watch?

Only possible ways:
- You're a well known Grey who gets to buy BNIB coffin watches
- You bought from a well known Grey
- You're an AD

@christian-h. Lighten up Mr. Fancy pants. It’s a watch forum. If you want to read a humiliating watch thread check out my Rolex and your cupcakes thread.

De-stickering a watch is part of the joy of getting one brand new. I will not deny myself that joy.

The sea dweller has unusual history. It was sold as new old stock from Christie’s auction house. Listed out of a Hong Kong authorized dealer too. Was very shocked to see how many Rolex dealers are in that city.

I just found one on my Sprite yesterday after a 2 months of wearing it. That was a fun surprise. I haven't needed to change the time very often because i was wearing it so much.

Not a fan of removing the stickers. Love that ADs now have to do it. Funny how they always miss one or more of them.

My AD always seems to miss one or two. I enjoy finding the red bar(s) and taking them off and getting market value for them on ebay... LOL j/k
