Icon4 Price in Dubai: Rolex Day-Date 40 Everose Gold with sundust dial

Watch:
Rolex Day-Date 40 Everose Gold with sundust dial, roman

Dear Rolex enthusiasts

Hope you are doing wonderful. I have been on the wishlist for some time and finally got the call. My watch is ready for me to pick up after payment.

What confuses me is the price I was quoted. 165 000 AED is around 45 000 USD (incl 5% VAT). This is way above the average MSRP in all countries.

I have read that Rolex stores in middle east usually pump up the price and you can bargain down to MSRP from there if you are lucky. Can anyone confirm?

For me its only a matter of principle... Everyone wants to make a good deal right?

Anyone with a recent Dubai experience or knows why the price is so much higher?

Thanks in advance.

I have done business with the Seddiqi stores in Dubai. Unless you have a personal connection or substantial purchase history I very much doubt they are amenable to bargaining. But it never hurts to ask - good luck!!

The stores in Dubai and others in Central Asia seem to be able to charge above MSRP without drawing the ire of the manufacturer.

Pretty sure the MSRP in the US is $44,800 plus you’d have to pay sales tax in most states. Plus if you build up a history with Seddiqui you’re more likely to get a chance on some stainless sports models

$44,800 USD is the MSRP for this watch with the Sundust dial set with diamond hour markers. The watch with a Sundust dial with Roman numeral hour makers has a USD MSRP of $40,350.

Gotcha. Sad I won't be able to get the VAT back because I am a resident of UAE.

This model isn't easy to come by, if you really love it, just go ahead and buy it at their asking price before they sell to the other customers. Their price is just a bit over MSRP so it isn't that bad at all.
