1988 Tudor 76100 Submariner Date “Lollipop” Full Set Box & Papers Vintage

For sale is a very good condition 40mm stainless steel Tudor Submariner Date. The 76100 was originally purchased in 1988, and is accompanied by all of its original boxes and papers. The box and papers set contains: inner and outer boxes, the original dated warranty paper, the original purchase receipt, a 2015 factory service card, a receipt from the 2015 factory service, an instruction manual, factory service booklets, and a polishing cloth. The Tudor received a full factory service in 2015 where the original tritium hands and bezel insert were replaced with SuperLuminova service parts.

The Tudor features a brushed steel case, which is accented by a bidirectional steel divers bezel that is set with a black Divers insert. The Submariner is mounted on its original folded link brushed steel Oyster bracelet, which is stamped with a “L6” clasp code that corresponds with a production date of June 1987. The Tudor features its original black matte dial with painted tritium hour markers, polished white gold surround luminous hands, and a magnified date window aperture at 3 o’clock. The tritium lume plots on the matte dial have acquired a gorgeous even golden cream colored patia, however the service hands do not have any patina as they are SuperLuminova

The case has been preserved well and remains extremely thick with even lugs, and appears to have only been polished once. The Oyster bracelet has also been preserved well and is fully linked, and contains minimal stretch considering the watch’s age. Overall the Tudor is in very good condition and is a well preserved example of a late 1980s Tudor Submariner reference 76100.
