Short review. Ordered the Panerai Due model # 01248 on Monday (via telephone concierge service) and it arrived in the afternoon on Tuesday via FedEx (signature required). It comes triple boxed and very well packaged. The Due is 38mm with a quick-change alligator strap, seconds hand + date. It is also an automatic with a 3 day power reserve. The sun-brushed sandwich dial is beautiful and the red strap is stunning. Definitely eye-candy. So far it has been keeping perfect time. Wifey loves it and it made her day.

↑ My wife wasn't into watches before but the Panerai Due with the red strap really caught her eye. Perhaps bring your wife to the Panerai boutique and have her try one on.
